This thesis analyzes the psychological-pedagogical essence of gamification in the educational process, focusing on its core mechanisms that influence student motivation, activity, cognitive engagement, and learning outcomes. Furthermore, drawing on scientific sources, it highlights the educational benefits of gamification, namely its role in enhancing intrinsic motivation, developing reflection and self-regulation, fostering a collaborative environment, individualizing learning, and increasing academic efficiency. The research findings indicate that gamification is not merely "playing games" but rather a powerful tool that, when structured upon meticulous pedagogical design, enhances educational quality and efficiency in alignment with students' needs, interests, and psychological characteristics. Concurrently, it is noted that the efficacy of gamification depends heavily on its implementation, and a poorly structured reward system can sometimes reinforce superficial engagement
