Word order is considered one of the essential syntactic phenomena that reflects not only grammatical structures but also human cognitive processes and communicative intentions. The study analyzes similarities and differences between English and Uzbek word order systems from a cognitive linguistic perspective. Particular attention is given to how speakers organize information, emphasize meaning, and express communicative purposes through sentence structure.
