This article explores the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the framework of state financial control. As public financial systems become increasingly complex, traditional auditing methods face limitations in processing vast amounts of digital data and identifying sophisticated financial irregularities. The research analyzes the prospects of AI integration, emphasizing its ability to enhance predictive analytics, automate risk-based scoring, and ensure 100% coverage of budgetary transactions through machine learning algorithms. However, the study also critically examines the inherent risks associated with AI adoption, including algorithmic bias, data privacy concerns, the "black box" nature of automated decision-making, and the requirement for significant institutional restructuring. By balancing these opportunities and challenges, the article proposes a strategic roadmap for the ethical and effective implementation of AI in the public sector. The findings suggest that while AI can drastically improve the efficiency of fiscal oversight, its success depends on a robust legal framework and the continuous supervision of human auditors to mitigate technological risks
