Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the essence and concept of computer technologies in education, their role and impact on the educational process. It considers the main functions of computer technologies, such as facilitating access to information, interactive learning, automation of learning tasks, support for distance education and the possibility of personalized approach. It is noted that digital technologies do not replace but complement the teacher's activities, acting as a tool to improve the quality and accessibility of education.
