ECOTOURISM: INTEGRATING NATURE CONSERVATION AND TOURISM

Abstract

This article examines the role of ecotourism in integrating environmental conservation, community development, and tourism activities in a sustainable manner. The study employs a case study method to analyze several ecotourism sites, focusing on sustainability practices, educational programs, community participation, and service standards. Results show that professional planning, trained staff, and structured educational activities enhance tourist engagement while protecting natural and cultural resources. The discussion emphasizes the importance of continuous development, adaptive management, and the use of digital tools to support sustainable ecotourism practices. The article concludes that ecotourism can effectively balance economic, social, and ecological goals while promoting responsible travel and long-term conservation awareness
