This article examines the role of digital technologies in tourism, highlighting how tools such as mobile applications, online booking systems, GPS navigation, and social media platforms simplify travel planning and enhance tourist experiences. The study employs a qualitative observational method to explore how these technologies influence accessibility, decision-making, and engagement in real tourism settings. Results indicate that digital tools make travel more convenient, efficient, and personalized, while also providing businesses with opportunities to improve service delivery and marketing. The discussion emphasizes the transformative nature of digital tourism systems and underscores the importance of complementing digital methods with ethnographic approaches to understand these sociotechnical systems fully. The article concludes that integrating technology with human-centered perspectives can enhance both tourist experiences and the economic and social impact of tourism
