TEACHING VOCABULARY AS A F MENT OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of vocabulary instruction in developing communicative competence from a linguodidactic perspective. The main objectives are to identify theoretical foundations, methodological approaches, and practical strategies for effective vocabulary teaching that enhance learners' communication skills. The research employs analytical, descriptive, comparative, and practical methods. Vocabulary acquisition is examined through conceptual fields such as lexical competence, semantic networks, contextual learning, and communicative strategies. The findings show that systematic vocabulary instruction significantly impacts communicative effectiveness, as lexical knowledge forms the basis for all language skills. Effective vocabulary teaching requires attention to cognitive processes, cultural contexts, and practical application. The results contribute to linguodidactics, foreign language teaching methodology, and applied linguistics, serving as a valuable resource for language education and pedagogical practice
