LINGUODIDACTIC ANALYSIS OF MULTIMODAL APPROACHES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

This article examines the linguodidactic features of multimodal approaches in foreign language teaching. The study analyzes the role of visual, auditory, textual, and digital resources in developing communicative competence and improving language acquisition. Special attention is given to the theoretical foundations of multimodality, multimedia learning, and communicative language teaching. The research applies descriptive and comparative analysis to evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of multimodal instruction in modern educational environments. The findings demonstrate that multimodal approaches increase learner motivation, facilitate intercultural communication, and create interactive learning conditions. The article also highlights the significance of authentic multimedia materials in contemporary foreign language pedagogy
