EFFECTIVE MECHANISMS OF WORKING WITH YOUTH IN THE FIELD OF SOCIAL WORK

Abstract

This article analyzes effective mechanisms for working with young people in social work, emphasizing how integrated service systems can strengthen engagement, resilience, and social inclusion. The study aims to systematize evidence-based mechanisms that align case management, community-level prevention, and interagency coordination into a single practice framework for youth services. Methodologically, the paper uses a structured analytical review of recent social work scholarship and a conceptual synthesis of implementation logics used in youth interventions. The scientific novelty consists in an integrated mechanism model that operationalizes the full service cycle: proactive outreach, multidimensional needs assessment, individualized planning, coordinated referral pathways across sectors, and outcome monitoring with explicit ethical safeguards and youth participation. The practical contribution is a set of implementable implications for program design, workforce competencies, and monitoring indicators adaptable to youth centers and social protection agencies
