VARIETY OF GENRES AND STYLES IN ERKIN MALIK'S "SUBHIDAM STORIES" COLLECTION

Abstract

This article examines the revival of classical didactic literary traditions in the works of Erkin Malik, a prominent representative of modern Uzbek children's literature. Using the collection "Subhidam Stories" as a case study, the article analyzes the synthesis of modern short stories and classical narrative genres, paying attention to their artistic and methodological features. The works in the collection are divided into realistic stories, stories based on hadiths, and religious and moral narratives. In addition, the author's skill in interpreting the verses of the Quran and hadiths in accordance with the children's worldview is studied through a comparative analysis with the perspectives of literary scholars
