Abstract

This article analyzes modern geopolitical conflicts and their impact on the global economy. The primary focus is directed toward international trade, the energy market, investment flows, and financial stability. In particular, changes in global economic processes are highlighted through the examples of the Russia–Ukraine war and the US–China trade war. Research results indicate that geopolitical tensions lead to increased inflation rates, disruptions in supply chains, and a deterioration of the investment climate. Additionally, the article substantiates the necessity for states to take strategic measures to ensure economic security. The findings hold significant importance for the development of economic policy
