ORGANIZATION OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS BASED ON THE COMMUNICATIVE METHOD

Abstract

In recent years communicative approach has emerged as one of the most popular methods of teaching foreign languages. The key idea of this approach is to form the communicative competence of the learners and allow them to apply the language in practice. This article explains the necessity to structure the English language classes on the foundation of the communicative approach. The paper also explores the principles of communicative language teaching and the use of interactive activities in building the speaking skills of the students. The study findings indicate that the communicative approach assists in enhancing the motivation, involvement, and confidence of students in the use of English language
