This article explores the implementation of gamification in English language classrooms and its impact on student motivation. Gamification, the application of game design elements in non-game contexts, has emerged as an effective pedagogical strategy to increase engagement, participation, and learning outcomes among ESL learners. The study examines both theoretical frameworks and practical approaches to gamifying language lessons, highlighting strategies such as point systems, leaderboards, interactive challenges, and digital platforms. Research findings indicate that gamification enhances student motivation, fosters collaboration, and improves retention of vocabulary and grammar. Recommendations for teachers include integrating gamified activities thoughtfully to align with curriculum objectives while maintaining inclusivity and fairness
